Our film lines are suitable for a broad range of thermoplastics and product dimensions. Exactly tuned to your product the extrusion line can individually be customized. We always have a clear sight on the economics of our film lines and achieve an incredibly low consumption of energy and materials.

Film extrusion on the highest quality level 

Our extruders realize a very good thermal homogeneity of the melt. The technical layout of our flat film dies and polishing stacks guarantees an optimal temperature distribution over the entire width of the material web in order to achieve a perfect surface finish. This way, our lines produce a consistently high-quality film.

 

Powerful and energy-efficient 

A sophisticated screw design reduces the demand of additional heating and cooling to a minimum. The direct drive of the extruder screw optimizes the energy consumption close to the physical minimum.

The handling of our film lines during operation and maintenance is thought out and optimized.

The user Interface of our lines is structured clearly and user friendly. We use comfortable Touch-Screens with Profinet and OPC UA interface.

 

Our service gets to you

No matter where you want to operate our film lines we stand by your side. Our highly trained staff will visit you for assembly and comissioning of your film line, and will instruct your personnell on how to operate it. If the control units have to be adjusted this can be done via remote maintenance.

  • Single Screw Extruders

    • esde Extruders reliably process thermo plastic materials in virgin condition (granules) or as regrind (flakes).
    • We build extruders for output achievements up to 1300 kg/h.
    • You can choose between a universally or a specially designed screw.
    • Multi-layer films can be produced with additional co-extruders and a feedblock.
    • The control is carried out by comfortable touch-screen technology with multilingual, logical user guidance and minimal training effort.
    • esde Extruders can additionally be equipped with gravimetric dosing station, degassing system, screen changer and melt pump.
    Extrusion Dies

    • For slit widths up to 2300 mm, this is equivalent to the final film width of 2100 mm.
    • esde Dies for flat film lines can be supplied for thicknesses from 100 µm to 10 mm.
    • Optionally it is possible to reduce the slit width with an external deckling up to 100 mm/each side.
    Polishing Stacks

    • esde Polishing Stacks are responsible for the perfect surface finish and uniform film thickness. The roll temperature on its overall contact surface to the film is very even, the cooling is steplessly adjusted to the required heat.
    • Our Polishing Stacks are equipped with an integrated haul-off unit.  Deviations in thickness of the incoming melt are balanced by a pneumatic or hydraulic interlocking device. The surfaces of the rolls are executed as desired by the customer (for example chromium plated, matted or embossed).
    • The base frames of the Polishing Stacks are electrically motivated (optional also with two axles) to ease maintenance and cleaning procedures.
    • Optionally the esde Polishing Stacks can be equipped with a rapid-change system for the rolls.
