esde inline extrusion lines for deep drawing films are designed specifically for the production of Cups, Trays and other thermoforming products. 

 

The core of esde extrusion lines for deep drawing film is the special polishing stack for inline thermoforming. It cools the material web down to the ideal temperature for thermoforming and feeds it directly into the thermoforming machine. This way the film doesn’t get cooled down entirely just to be reheated later for thermoforming. 

 

This leads to large economies in energy and drastically simplified logistics

 

The polishing stack of a extrusion line for deep drawing films is equipped with a integrated haul-off, in order to keep the internal heat within the film. The framework of the polishing stack is electromotive to facilitate cleaning and service.

  • Single Screw Extruders

    • esde Extruders reliably process thermoplastic materials in virgin condition (granules) or as regrind (flakes).
    • We build extruders for output achievements up to 1300 kg/h.
    • You can choose between a universally or a specially designed screw.
    • Multi-layer films can be produced with additional co-extruders.
    • The control is carried out by comfortable touch-screen technology with multilingual, logical user guidance and therefore minimal training effort.
    • esde Extruders can additionally be equipped with gravimetric dosing station, degassing system, screen changer melt pump.
    High-Speed Extruders

    • The new extruder generation is specialized in the processing of PP.
    • Output achievements are up to 700 kg/h at 40 mm screw diameter
    • esde High-Speed Extruders have a compact design.
    • Achievement of  excellent homogenous melt at a short dwelling time of 5 to 7 seconds.
    Extrusion Dies

    • For slit widths up to 1200 mm maximal - equivalent to the final film width of 1000 mm.
    • esde Dies for deep-drawn film are available for thicknesses from a minimum of 250 µm upwards.
    • Feedblocks for the extrusion of multi-layer films.
    Polishing Stacks

    • esde Polishing Stacks are responsible for the perfect surface finish and uniform film thickness. The roll temperature on its overall contact surface to the film is very even, the cooling is stepless adjusted to the required heat.
    • Our Polishing Stacks are equipped with an integrated haul-off unit.  Deviations in thickness of the incoming melt are balanced by a pneumatic or hydraulic interlocking device.  The surfaces of the rolls are executed as desired by the customer (for example chromium plated, matted or embossed)
    • The base frame of the Polishing Stacks is electrically motivated (optional also with two axles) to ease maintenance and cleaning procedures.
    • Optionally the Polishing Stacks can be equipped with a rapid-change system for the rolls.
